No power to appliance

The appliance is not receiving power. Ensure there is power at the socket and that there's no power cut by checking the household lights.

The light does not come on

The internal light of the appliance is not functioning. Check if the bulb is correctly fitted and replace it if it has blown. Also, verify that the door light switch is not jammed.

The temperature in the fridge is too high

The fridge is not cooling to the desired temperature. Check the thermostat setting and adjust it to a cooler setting if necessary. Ensure the ambient temperature is within the operating limits of 10˚C to 32˚C.

Important Safety Instructions

At the end of the appliance's life, use an authorised disposal site. Remove the plug and any locks to prevent children from being trapped inside.

Setting the Temperature

The temperature is regulated by a thermostat with 6 positions and an 'OFF' position. Position 1 is minimum coldness, and position 6 is maximum. The intermediate position (3-4) is usually suitable.

Defrosting

The refrigerator automatically defrosts when the compressor stops. Water is discharged into a tray above the compressor, where it evaporates. Clean the water discharge hole periodically to avoid overflow.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Switch off and unplug the appliance before cleaning. Use warm water and bicarbonate of soda for internal cleaning. Avoid detergents, abrasives, or wax polishes.

Installation

Position the appliance away from heat sources. Ensure it is accessible for engineers in case of breakdown. Leave it for 2 hours after installation before turning it on.

Regular Cleaning

Clean the interior and accessories with warm water and bicarbonate of soda (5ml to 0.5 litre of water). Rinse and dry thoroughly. Avoid using detergents, abrasive powders, or highly perfumed cleaning products as these can damage the surface and leave a strong smell.

Defrosting

Ensure the defrost water can flow freely by cleaning the drain hole of the water trough regularly. Use the special cleaner provided. If the fridge is not defrosting correctly, adjust the thermostat to a lower setting to allow automatic defrosting.

Temperature Setting

Set the thermostat to an intermediate position (3-4) for best results. Adjust based on room temperature, door opening frequency, and food quantity. If the compressor runs continuously, select a lower temperature setting.

Avoid Overloading
